This course focuses on the practical application of fundraising concepts and methods in developing an annual fund campaign for a real non-profit organization. Students will learn how to match prospective donors with an organization’s mission and values, set realistic fundraising goals, develop a fundraising budget and select appropriate evaluation criteria. As a result of this course, students will have developed an annual fund plan for a nonprofit organization of their choice. The course is designed for students with a strong interest in fundraising and those seeking careers in nonprofit arts, education and social service organizations.
As a result of this course, the students will be able to:
